Far Left RailCam (WA-FL)
Sneak Peek Beta Test
This is just a beta test and mock up of the new RailCams web site. The videos and images below are real, but there will be no
automatic updates or additions until the software is all worked out. Once we have this webcam automatically recording and
updating the website, we'll add the other 3 Vancouver Webcams plus the webcams at the San Juan Capistrano Amtrak Station in
California, and the La Plata Amtrak Station and Rail Lookout in La Plata, Missouri.
There are four webcams overlooking the BNSF line east of Vancouver, Washington, about 2 miles east of the Vancouver Amtrak Station.
The Portland Segment of the Amtrak Empire Builder passes by these cameras twice each day, one west in the morning and
one east in the late afternoon.
(The WAshington Far Left WA-FL webcam below is the only one being tested at this time.)
The webcam is set to trigger to take both video and photos when train motion is detected.
